Being creative is a part of who I am. It comes and goes in periods of painting, writing or other creative pursuits. In recent years, painting has brought me so much more;
For several years, I organized painting afternoons at the general practice De Componist for participants referred by their healthcare provider. They were able to get acquainted with paint and brushes, with a focus on well-being.
* Since 2025, I've been teaching Art for Kids together with Andrea Herkelman and Franca Oostveen. We do this in collaboration with the welfare organization Movactor.
* I've also given painting workshops under the banner of Kunstgein and regularly exhibit my work. This connects me with other creative people and allows me to introduce others to brushes and paint. That gives me great satisfaction and inspiration.
